These digital passports provide insight into and an overview of the environmental, circular and financial impact of all the materials and products used in the construction of the individual properties. It enables monitoring the environmental and circular data of all the materials and products used, from one central location. By creating a material passport, you are well on your way towards meeting current and future circularity-related regulations and requirements. It also means that you will be able to reduce the environmental burden of the objects that are in your possession or under your management.
Obtaining insight through data
Managing real estate objects can be improved by basing decisions on facts, which becomes a lot easier when you have sufficient data at your disposal.
If you do not or not yet have your own data to work with, Madaster has several independent data sources available. These include information about the expected lifespan of products, the origins of raw materials and their possible reuse. Naturally, we also have data on carbon sequestration and storage available.
